A versão original foi ao ar com 227 capítulos.A trama é dividida em duas fases: a primeira é ambientada em 1928 e a segunda se passa em 1948. Além do que, a trama ganhou um bloco a mais, por capítulo, permanecendo no ar até 19h10, fazendo com que a novela das 19h00 da época, Bang Bang, entrasse no ar somente a partir das 19h30, o que não era nada mal, afinal a trama amargava péssimos índices de audiência. * Glória Menezes viveria a personagem que acabou ficando com Walderez de Barros, Adelaide. * As primeiras externas da novela foram realizadas em Bonito e Jardim, no Mato Grosso do Sul. * Cláudia Abreu foi cotada para viver Serena, mas a atriz preferiu fazer Belíssima, do autor Silvio de Abreu. * A prefeitura da cidade de São Paulo se recusou, inicialmente, a conceder o Teatro Municipal para as gravações do primeiro capítulo, em que Luna (Liliana Castro) leva um tiro do vilão Guto (Alexandre Barillari) na porta do Teatro. Depois, voltou atrás em sua decisão. Só que aí a Globo já tinha escolhido outra locação: O Teatro Municipal de Niterói.Priscila Fantin, a intérprete de Serena, foi o último nome a ser fechado no elenco. Inicialmente Priscila viveria Luna e Serena, mas a direção da Globo achou melhor mudar a intérprete de Luna, que acabou sendo a atriz Liliana Castro, que conquistou todos os telespectadores por seu jeito meigo e único de ser, ao interpretar a filha de Agnes.

I wanted to make a stupid horror film using my friends and co-workers as actors, and the only way to do this was by shooting the scenes in order because it could not be edited. Every scene had to be shot in one take, because if I backed up over a bad scene, it would erase the end of the prior scene. I shot this thing by making it up as we went, with a beer in one hand and the camera in the other. I finished it in about 6 months, shooting on the weekends or whenever. I sent the tape to a place in Miami that converted it to NTSC so that everybody who was in it would be able to finally see it. It was supposed to be stupid, but not that stupid. I vowed to never to show it again, but what the hell. It made me laugh today. Enjoy! It is 45 mins long, so this will be in 10 parts or so. I will put up at least one part a week. Barcelona Comentarios del director: Un buen día, un amigo especial me contó una idea extraña que tuvo sentado en la orilla del mar. En un primer momento no le presté atención pero esa misma noche tuve un insólito sueño relacionado con el tema y decidí plasmarlo en imágenes. El rodaje fue un pulso contra las adversidades: El mal tiempo, el protagonista con varicela, escasez de baterías de cámara, de cintas...de todo. De los tres días previstos el rodaje se prolongó hasta una semana y tuvimos que dormir una media de cuatro horas al día para aprovechar la luz del amanecer, del atardecer y de las fiestas nocturnas (una vez allí, había que aprovecharlas) Esta es una historia sobre la amistad, el amor, la melancolía, la dependencia y la montaña rusa que todos hemos sufrido alguna vez en la vida. Asimismo, hemos querido dedicar el corto a la madre de Enrique Sánchez, uno de los técnicos y actores del corto, que tuvo una gran pérdida nada más finalizar la grabación del corto. Donde quiera que esté su madre, este corto es para ella. Esta historia surgió el día que me enteré que Ángel, un amigo de la playa, montó en un "caballo alado" y se fue para siempre. Por eso le dediqué este corto. Su vació lo llené con otro amigo imaginario que me ayudó a subir la mirada al cielo azul. Donde quiera que esté, este corto es para ti. El titulo de este corto, es una alegoría a la amistad, que yo defino como amor sin sexo y sin intereses creados, teniendo en cuenta que el amor conlleva placer, y a veces dolor. Nunca nos sentiremos solos, teniendo una sonrisa que compartir y una buena "dosis" de imaginación.
