No. 245 is one of my favorite films of all time, Singin' In the Rain. What I like about this musical is the fact that unlike other musicals that had flimsy plots this one was solid. Great talent, great music, great comedy, this is the epitome of a perfect musical.

In 1968 The Beatles taped (and filmed) two performances for British and American TV. Two media were used because of PAL/NTSC issues (it's much easier, and provides better quality, to shoot film and transfer it in either NTSC or PAL than transcoding PAL to NTSC or the other way around. This was more true in 1968 than today.)
This is the second performance from the video version of the shoot. Originally in PAL, it's been professionally transcoded to NTSC for The Smother Brother's Comedy Hour, October 13th 1968. Beatles at David Frost's part |
