Jeff Dye is a rising star in the comedy scene who has performed all over the country. In 2007 he won the Giggles 10th annual Laff Off. He took third in the Laff Off in 2006 and was also a semi-finalist in the Seattle international comedy comp. Jeff doesn't use profanity but is very edgy and creative, and some have described his act as a charmingly twisted experience. Dye grew up on the streets of Kent and went through junior high and high school preparing for his future in comedy by literally demolishing teachers in every class he entered. Although the audiences were pleased, the teachers weren't and Jeff quickly earned the reputation of "terror to teach" and "class clown." After high school, Jeff led Young Life for four years and began his onstage speaking. Whether Jeff was doing skits or just giving the "talk," he naturally swept the room's attention with the mic. While taking college courses (and not knowing what to study, Dye kept being told that he needed to do something with the humor and blessings he'd been given. His confidence and onstage presence cause the audience to feel right at home and enjoy the show. His acts are clean and funny enough for any room, be it a church or a New York abortion clinic.
