Robert DeNiro as the hideously dillusional wannabe stalker rupert Pupkin in Martin Scorsese's classic comedy. Here his my favorite scene as he talks to Jerry Langford (Jerry Lewis)in a restaurant about taking over his show for six weeks - only it turns out he's actually talking to himself in his bedroom with his mum hollering through to him from the other room.

Plus, you have to love any movie that gives screen credits to the clash's Mick Jones and Joe Strummer as 'street scum'.

KRALJ KOMEDIJE Humorna drama. Nakon emitiranja još jedne iznimno gledane emisije, popularnog stand-up komičara Jerryja Langforda (J. Lewis) na izlazu iz njujorškog studija okruži mnoštvo obožavatelja. Među ljudima koji se pokušavaju približiti svom idolu i dodirnuti ga je i otkvačena Masha (S. Bernhard), djevojka koja se uspije uvući na stražnje sjedalo Jerryjeva automobila. Pretvarajući se da želi smiriti djevojku i pomoći Jerryju, slavnog komičara od Mashina napada zaštiti brbljavi Rupert Pupkin (R. De Niro), ekscentričan 35-godišnji momak koji sa zahvalnim Jerryjem uđe u automobil. Tijekom vožnje do Langfordova luksuznog stana Rupert objašnjava Jerryju da je i on daroviti komičar, te da bi mu se Jerry za uslugu mogao odužiti tako da ga ugosti u nekoj svojoj emisiji. Želeći se osloboditi agresivnog i upornog Ruperta, Langford mu obeća da će ga ubrzo uistinu pozvati u svoj program. Maštajući o priželjkivanih pet minuta slave, nestrpljivi Rupert već sutradan stane nazivati Langfordov studio, inzistirajući da ga Jerry istog dana primi. A kad mu nepopustljiva Langfordova tajnica Cathy Long (S. Hack) kaže da joj donese svoj snimljeni materijal na uvid, Rupert pohita pohvaliti se atraktivnoj Riti Keane (D. Abbott), tamnoputoj konobarici koja nema razumijevanja za Pupkinove fantazije. No Rupert je, uvjeren u svoj uspjeh, u podrumu obiteljske kuće u kojoj živi sa svojom majkom, napravio kartonsku repliku televizijskog studija, u kojem neprestano vježba svoj nastup. Nakon što tijekom slijedećih nekoliko dana, unatoč neprekidnom opsjedanju nepristupačnog Jerryja, zaključi da ga zvijezda namjerno ignorira, Rupert uz pomoć svoje prijateljice Mashe odluči upasti u Langfordovu kuću i oteti komičara....

PLEASE WATCH IN HIGH QUALITY! -Humor- Comedic (half serious) look at what it's like to be dirt poor, like the Weasleys. The humiliation and the pride ... but I tried to add a bit of humor to it. It's a little personal because my Mother used to make us listen to this song when we were little 'cause we were poor too. PLEASE WATCH IN HIGH QUALITY! Otherwise the colors bleed bad.
