(Lyrics: http://www.gregslab.com/physics_rap ) "Physics Guy" was performed on March 30, 2007, for Ms. Houston's 3rd period AP Physics class at Leland High School, in return for having one low assignment grade dropped (hence the reference in the opening verse). "Physics Guy" was a rush project, and my first attempt at doing anything of this nature. The lyrics and "music" were engineered over a couple of consecutive evenings using all open-source software and a mixture of original samples with stock instruments. I hope to produce a higher-quality audio-only recording as soon as I have some time.

Part 1 of Chris Frye, Denver King, and Carlton Galligan's Physics Project. It is about 2 kids named Chris Rye and Denver Queen, who have to make a physics project. They tried to get a bunch of people together, but no one showed up. So, they are forced to do their project with a caveman named Grog and a random kid named Carlton. In the first comedy --the kid who acted as an old man is now a Physics Instructor in one of the Ethiopian University. He is known for his deep love to his Country. Sometimes we criticize him for being too nationalist. His father ,one of the audience in the video, brought him to America but he left America within a year and headed back home. we missed him. He is my cousin . The other Kid who acted as a radio seller is now a medical student in an America University . he is one of my brother. In the second comedy ,I acted as a mother and I currently lives in America working on my Bachelor's degree in physics and theater .The other boy who acted as a child is my younger brother. He is now working in American Red Cross as a Laboratory Technician. --- If you nodes, there are two big Photos on the shelf. they are my Mom and My Dad--both of them were attending our Comedy in the video. --you might identify them-- My uncle who set on the Sofa went to Ethiopia to visit his country and his family after he lived 16 years In America at the time. So this whole thing is a welcoming performance to our Cousin. we tried to impress him with our acting. it actually paid off . He was the one who sponsored us to bring us to America when my father won the diversity Visa Lottery in 2002. My Cousin has been working in American Red cross as a Medical Technologiest and he is married and has two children. my youngest brother who set with him wasn't part of the our comedy . he was too big to act with us so we didn't let him act with us. however he seem to enjoy our comedy--look how he laughed -- my Ant set at the very end of the Sofa close to the Tv .She is known in her laud Laughter . you can see that in the video . She loves Children --just look in the video she has a bay on her side but my Ant doesn't have her own Child. -- The ladies who dressed in the white Ethiopian traditional dress are my close relatives and the beautiful girls with a long dark hair are part of my family. They seem a little shy in the video --guess why ? the young guys are teasing them--I am not quite sure though--that is a family privacy -right ? we rather pass that--lol-- The woman who carry a child and her husband is our Muslim Neighborhood. They rent a couple of rooms that we own. Even though I and my family practice an Ethiopian Orthodox Christianity, we used to live in a Muslim neighborhood . we enjoyed all the wonderful experience we had had. This is one of the greatest thing to be an Ethiopian family. A respect for one an other is always with us. Now After all those years when I and my family watch this video it remind us our past ,the good times we had but it also make us feel a little home sick---- I am thankful to God for blessing me with such a Gift . I can't see nothing with out my family--- --- I hope you enjoy the video--and thank you for watching it.
