An experiment in "hidden camera" nonsense. We asked an actor (The Guy on the TV screen) to deliver a random monologue of his choice, and then asked an actress (The Girl in the Chair) to perform some "movement exercises" of her choice. We then composited the auditions into a skit we wrote around their auditions. It's kind of like SNL without the guest host's knowledge. Proof of concept for proposed comedy series. Hello everybody, this sketch show is a 20 minute pilot episode we made back in 2006 as a sort of 'proof of concept' test for a web sketch series. We are all ex-film and TV, B.A students who banded together to create content we find funny for the web. The post-production took a backseat for a while whilst other projects were finished, but we're proud to finally have it on YouTube for you all to enjoy! The show was made for about £60 in an effort to prove that good quality material can be produced with small budgets (and a lot of favours called in) for the likes of websites like YouTube. We are based in the North of England and we are currently working on more sketches and music videos and have a website coming soon. This was a bit of fun i made back in March 2004. I had alot of ideas running through my head and i wanted to put them together in something i could look back at. It's a video notepad of sorts, a proof of concept if you will. The idea was to use some proper footage we shot (this was just screwing around) and edit it up in after effects. Though like so many things i begin, i lost interest rather quickly. Therefore nothing ever eventuated beyond this. With no After effects knowledge at the time i ended up editing this together frame by frickin' frame in photoshop. Be shocked and sadened by the opening then laugh your arse off. Laugh at it, laugh at me. Whatever. Enjoy. Music is Battle Royale opening from the Movie soundtrack Sakura by RevenG from Dance Dance Revolution Haruka Kanata by Asian Kung-Fu Generation from their album 'Houkai Amplifier' but probably best known for its use as an opening theme for the anime Naruto.
