WINNER of the Best Comedy and Fan Favorite awards at Youmacon 2008, 1st place Comedy at Nekocon 2008, Best Parody/Trailer at AnimeNext 2008, the Audience Choice award at A-kon 19's Fans' Exhibition, the "Thanks; Now I Need New Pants" award at Otafest 2008, and was the Comedy/Parody runner-up at Animethon 15! The con airings of this video are significantly different from the actual "director's cut" of it. The actual differences from that version are: 1. Chihiro: Bebubebududeh was added back in. [cut out for time considerations since it's short and not one of my favorite clips of the video] 2. Butt Racing Galaxy (Part 1) was added back in (I was wondering how many people would catch that there was a part 2 in the contest, but no part 1). [also cut for time considerations since it seemed repetitive to have 2 butt racing clips and in my opinion part 2 is much funnier] 3. The title cards for each clip are doubled in length (so you can actually have enough time to read them). [for time considerations only] 4. The audio for Don't Answer the Bananaphone was changed back to English and the text bubble was removed (contests don't allow for English dubs). I originally used the English audio because the joke's less subtle with it. 5. Butt Racing Galaxy Part 2 is playing at it's original speed (it was sped up from 5 fps to 6 fps at the contest in order to shave off 10 seconds). [again to save some time] 6. The Grandma Works It clip was put back in. Thought it might have been a little too risque for the contest since it's supposed to be PG-13. Plus, it might've grossed a few people out. 7. Two In Ur Stuff segments were put back in. [the briefcase and tech support were cut for time considerations and I felt they had the worst video quality of the group of segments] 8. The first 5 seconds of Gunsmith Cats vs. Mario Kart was put back in. [felt the intro was a little too long when considering the 6 minute time limit for contests] 9. Put back in the first and last second of She Touched Tenchi's Tra La La. [solely time considerations] 10. The "f bomb" at the end of All Your Angel wasn't censored. [Needed a PG-13 rating for the contest] 11. The "to be parodied" and the credits were put back in. [time considerations and contests don't allow homemade credits] 12. The opening warning is it's original 8 seconds long and not 6 seconds. [time considerations only] 13. The hand slap at the end of Gunsmith Cats vs. Mario Kart was put back in. [time considerations only] This video is a homage/spoof of the website, www.ytmnd.com. It's made up of 14 short videos based on several of the site's fads. A number of them won't make much sense unless you're a regular of the site. Even if you aren't, there are a few videos that'll still make you laugh. Originally, this all started as two submissions for Jesmaster's YTMND MEP; but I caught wind of the project rather late (about February-ish), when Jesmaster decided to make his a solo project. Anyhow, being really excited about the concept and having a bunch of ideas for videos; I decided to make an entire video myself. Turned out to be a rather long video in the end, at 8 and a half minutes long. At any rate, I hope everyone gets a kick out of it and feels inspired to make a few YTMND parodies of their own.
