Myself and Ken Suzuki a fellow stand up comedian in Tokyo do a short two day tour in Osaka and Nagoya. This is the first day of the trip. A good time was had by all. The Osaka show was at the infamous "Sam and Dave's" in Osaka. Opening the show for us was a local street performer and juggler named Brain Hulse. On day two of our mini-tour of the Kansai area we did a show at "Misfits" in Nagoya. We were also lucky to have Japanese comedian Hidekazu Nagai come along and open the show. Though he is a Japanese language comedian he did a really good job in English. Also in what was a bizarre coincidence I ran into a guy who said he saw my college band "Short Round" play in Syracuse, NY. It was back during the two years when Ska was popular. I played tenor sax... not very well at that. It really is a small small world.

So here is my stand-up. Not the best set Ive ever done or ever will do.... god willing. But to give you folks an idea of what a comedy set for a gaijin comedian in a foreign land is like. This is it. So I can prevent some of the requests for subtitles, which wont happen, the word "Atsui" means "hot." This small talk is incesant in summer here.
