Comedian Bret Ernst is one of the stars of the new movie "Vince Vaughn's Wild West Comedy Show: 30 Days and 30 Nights Hollywood to the Heartland," opening in theaters on Friday, February 8. The movie was directed by Ari Sandel, who accompanied Bret for this interview. Ari is an Academy Award-winning writer/director/producer whose "West Bank Story" won the Oscar for Best Live Action Short Film in 2005. A musical comedy set among competing falafel stands in the West Bank, "West Bank Story" concerns an Israeli soldier who falls for a beautiful Palestinian cashier despite the fact that her family's falafel stand competes with his family's falafel stand, and of course the whole Israeli/Palestinian thing.

I would like to thank Huskie Hub in the NIU student center for letting me film there, we could have gone to and actual McDonalds, but we wanted to promote Northern Illinois University because a terrible thing happened on our campus when five people died in a school shooting and we wanted people to know that this is a great campus with a lot of great people and so we wanted to give props to our school, plus at least this is better then a Burger King or the middle of a living room or using rock band drums or not synced at all like some other "supersize" videos.
