Walter Matthau and Ingrid Bergman appeared together in the 1969 comedy "The Cactus Flower". Just two years earlier Walter Matthau co-starred in the film version of Neil Simon's "The Odd Couple". In 1975 Ingrid Bergamn won her second Oscar for her role in "Murder on the Orient Express". For film buffs familiar with all three films it will be easy to see where the "failure to communicate" comes in: Instead of the proper dialog from "The Cactus Flower" scene, Matthau is babbling lines from "The Odd Couple", while Bergman goes on and on from the script of "Murder on the Orient Express". - Enjoy this jumbled piece of cinema candy, and please take a moment to rate and comment.
