Every two years, the small Australian town of Chinchilla pays tribute to its melon harvest by holding the Chinchilla Melon Festival where people not only eat, but engage in some of the wackiest activities using watermelons, like headbutting. This year, 29-year-old local melon picker John Allwood smashed his way into the Guinness Book of World Records by headbutting 40 watermelons in 58 seconds. 'Melon-skiing' proved to be another popular event at the festival. I set a new world record in the tongue lift event. In the same manner as the guiness tv show, I am the only one to ever attempt the tongue lift, so of course, I achieve the world record. This is a spoof of sorts, it seems that a lot of the "world records" that the guiness show airs are just stupid things that no one else has done before... like who really wants a world record in drinking molten lead?
