Nicola Sturgeon of the SNP wins Glasgow Govan from Labour at a General Election for the first time ever. Nicola had fought this seat for 10 years, each time reducing the Labour majority still further. At the fourth attempt, she beat Gordon "Two Jobs" Jackson to become MSP for Glasgow Govan. As Govan is my patch, this gave me particular pleasure to watch!
