Yippie, this is my first Happy Tree Friends MV (and, since all of my previous MVs have focussed upon animated programmes aimed predominantly at younger audiences, this one constitutes quite a change of pace for me, though I promise that there isn't going to be a huge deal of gore in this particular one). I made it in honour of the two characters who are, very arguably, the most tragic of the show's ill-fated cast - that is, Pop and Cub. I love this father and son team dearly, but their appearances in HTF usually leave me feeling ever so sad...it's no secret that Pop is hardly the most competent father in the world, his parenting skills frequently leaving something to be desired, but there can be no question whatsoever that he loves his son, and only wants what's best for him at heart (and Cub himself is so adorable). Hence, I'm gearing them up with just about the saddest song I know, "The Last Song" by Elton John (taken from the album "The One"), which I do think fits them pretty well. Please enjoy. Happy Tree Friends, of course, belongs to Mondomedia and not to me...but I'm sure you already knew that.
