This commercial predates the famous theme song that us Aussies all know and love and uses some other theme song but the gimmick is pretty much the same as the ones later in the 80s that use the trademark theme song. Australia "The Wonders Down Under" commercial circa 1984 featuring the legendary Paul Hogan. Hoges is promoting Australia to the USA to get Americans to holiday in Australia and he uses the line "I'll slip an extra shrimp on the barby for ya" which is where the infamous stereotypical line "throw a shrimp on the barby" that American shows overused came from. This commercial was transferred from a beta tape.
