I've seen those half sheepdog, half dingo mongrel breeds, punch drunk on trough juice and marrow fat soup, breath bated for the woolly apocalypse, and I'm beginning to wonder: Is this dog dreaming us or are we dreaming it? Why do we get road-kill mutton chops instead of prize-winning livestock, when the punch line has already been and gone? Do all farmyard animals talk with a West Country accent? I don't know but I'd like to find out, because you may well be wearing the wrong trousers, Gromit, but there's a sinister talking dog shaped hole in the world, and I've stood on my hind legs for long enough now to know.

I hope you enjoy my beloved little pug Yoda "singing" his song. A few viewers have contacted me to express their concern for Yoda, thinking that his "singing" is an expression of discomfort. Please, don't worry! Yoda has been singing like this since he was a little puppy. He sings at the top of the stairs when I come home at night, while waiting for treats or dinner, or any time he is very excited. He wags his tail very happily the whole time and our veterinarian has assured us that he is not in any pain at all! Thanks for everyone's great comments and for sharing in the joy of our little Yoda!
