Nicky Sunshine began her formal theatre training at Northwestern University. While in Evanston she wrote and produced her own skits for AATE (African American Theatre Ensemble) As a member of the German based R&B group "KJ-19" she landed a featured appearance on John "The Scatman's single "The Chickadee Song. Ms. Sunshine has performed in off Broadway productions for over 7 years. She originated the part of "Samana" in "Platanos and Collard Greens". Nicky most recently appeared in the independent film "Diamondz in Da Ruff. She is proud to be an original Broad of Broadway!
